lol yeah you remember how I was pissing and moaning the other day about putting it in backwards... well that's what I mean :p


I mean I understand they do it for cable management (and it's nice I will say that) but holy hell it's annoying to have to take off both sides just to put in a bloody hard drive.

I thought of redoing it but nah, it came that way so I might as well just keep with it and route them through, it's an added step but in the long run it might benefit... I dunno :p
oh you bought it with drives in it?

personally I don't like the shifted that way at all, but not many cases don't do it now...


I gave the parts list to a friend who has a business in building custom PCs for people, he ordered them and put it together for me.

I haven't kept up with AMD's line of products for ages, so I'm not sure how much the A-series stacks up against the FX line of CPUs when it comes to gaming, but I just made a semi-educated guess there, thinking the APU can work hand in hand with the discrete GPU card to enhance performance.

Also, the R9-270X looks to have respectable performance with a reasonable price tag. Whether drivers will play nice or not is another story however.

New rules?
Classroom rules and norms. Basically I have to reinvent the wheel so that when I teach my own class next year, I'll know how to do it and have a firsthand view of what worked and what didn't work.
