That I actually agree with. Fairy Tail got bad with it so that's kinda why I got bored... It turned really stupid rather than keeping with good story lines. Sigh.
But I don't mind it every now and then, like in this one. Whatever, so they rip the chicks titty cloth off every time they battle. I just kinda meh and keep watching.
Freezing would be so much better if he didn't put so much fanservice in it and focus on the story. He did this with Maian though there was some comedy in it. I know that they need some fanservice to sell volumes (because the Japanese are enormous perverts who can't enjoy a series without it) but it's getting really ridiculous when everything new has *** and *** all over.

I guess I don't get why they call it fanservice if so many fans seem to dislike it... or are they just the vocal minority?

I tried a lot of the fall animes and I couldn't get past it. >< I guess I can with Freezing because I don't find many chicky warrior type animes...
A lot of the anime from this year I really thought had good potential and was ruined by fanservice. ; ; I wanted to believe Date-a-live would be good, but the 14 year old nose bleed humor made me cry.
Oh I'mma try the blood-letting girl one you suggested after I get through a few more episodes of Freezing. Meant to yesterday just got hooked on Satella <3

Also shocked that both Sei and Reiji recognized Yuuki right away. I was totally expecting them to pull a Quattro situation with somebody not recognizing him until the shades came off. :<

while I do watch a show here and there for fan service, there are some that they just place too much of it (or revolves around it) and it becomes annoying.

Some might say that it's not porn in that case, but it definitely is. Just a different category. A rose by any other name would smell as sweet, etc.
I don't think people in general like to be teased. Some people, but a lot of people can't handle it. Doesn't even have to be in a sexual manner either!

There is also something to say about movies which just as well produce a large amount of fanservice - gratuitous nudity - in non erotic productions and sometimes even in stuff conned for all ages.
But if you consider pornography everytime some skin is showed that descends into the matter of morals, which I believe is a bit useless to discuss due to its subjectivity(too much at least for a random thread!).
The very word pornography is almost a philosophical concept in the sense that its use can be varied depending on the user's point of view(as a synonim of obscenity).
