Well it's from an Italian interview lol, there's bound to be some mistakes in the translation. Basically it means you get to play for free for 30 days and then you have to pay for the game

It's free trial for 30 days if you buy the game but they're planning to implement a completely free trial without actually buying the game, but it will be restricted then. Like with WoW's f2p.

By "only 8 man content will be available" they mean they won't have more than 8 people content available yet, that will come in the next few updates or so.
The biggest question on my mind right now is if I'm going to stay on this site or move to the XIV one..

The XIV one kinda blows though. This one will still have the information and you won't have to deal with weird XIV players that barely post.
Also.. its going into open beta right? :/ idk if I think its right that they charge monthly to play or not.. most open betas are free lol

No it's going into release lol. Early Access first then release. Open Beta was phase 4.
