Maybe its just me or I maybe I'm just going crazy(which is possible), but when I tried to log out yesterday on Smn in Jeuno, it told me that that you cannot rest while your avatar's out. Was this always the case?

It's normal to not be able to rest while your avatar is out, not normal for it to be happening in Jeuno though since you can't summon there.

There's something wonky with pets right now. After warping from a field area with my automaton out earlier this week I was given the "Cannot modify an activated automaton" message while running through towns trying to change attachments. I had to actually either change my job or go out into a field area and deactivate to change attachments

I'm assuming it has something to do with having a pet active while zoning right now, the system is assuming it's still out even though it's impossible in a normal town. I suggest making sure you release pets before zoning into towns until they fix it.
