Seriously thinking of getting a tablet to replace my kindle and to play phone games on (so my phone dies less often and I can use it... for you know, a phone).

Been eyeballing the Google Nexus 7. Only a little bigger than my kindle (old style kindle, not a fire or anything), relatively cheap, and seems to do what I am asking.

Anyone with a little more technical experience with tablets have any advice? I'm looking for something that is 7~8", comfortable, and sub $300. Preferably android so I can just scadoot all my google play stuff over.

Okay I'm not saying she doesn't love her children, and it might be a matter of her age, but you have the right idea in what you want to provide for your children, why doesn't she? Does she not equate her bad spending habits with the reason why you two don't have that now?

Sorry if I come off a little abrasive. It's really not my intention. I just get peeved when people don't take personal responsibility for themselves or their current situation. It seems like your wife lacks common sense if she's spending your family into oblivion and doesn't accept her part in it.

You really shouldn't feel bad for her short-comings. It's not fair when you want to be a part of a team and the other person just wants to sit on the bench and yell about your performance.
