I loved ff11s gear swaps..I thought it was super unique. If I had a piece of gear that looked cool and was super awesome I didn't have to choose between another piece of gear that was super awesome..I could use them both for certain things.
Dude, my rdm, whm and smn were hot. Marduk's pants and boots+ whm AF2 or yinyang robe was so frikken awesome looking...
SMN looked best with YY IMO. My Alt Ken looks hot on BRD with Marduk Body, Relic Legs +2, and rest Emp Gear. XD Ohhh and the Bird Cage Stick from Tinnin, Alkulurops?
I liked the monster that dropped YYR. I tricked my LS that it was up so they'd come up to Sky earlier and they all wiped trying to aggro it lol. After I told them "just kidding lol" they wouldn't heal me for like 3 months
There was a time before and then it was free for a while (with optional payment I think?) and they introduced the legacy campaign the last 6 months or so and if you subbed for 3 months you'd get legacy status
I hope they add the vanity thing because some gear looks ridiculously bad together. Missmatched sets in XI at least looks decent but here it's like.. yuck lol. Green helmet with yellow pants and red gloves is not okay >.> At least you can dye stuff. Wondering if they might add the ability to dye dungeon gear, that would be kinda cool and make gear more individual.
I like the idea of Vanity slots, but I think they should put the ability to check people back in, so it doesn't lead to judgemental issues.
Also, I'm not sure if it's a typo, but the start of the next beta test was announced this morning, the end...was not. So this could be an extended test session, who knows?

I just know it was any time from January - October. They announced the legacy campaign in March I think but it counted the two months before.

You'll still have the characters. The legacy benefits are a lower monthly fee and a couple gimmick things, but anyone can play on a legacy server whether they have legacy status or not.
I don't think you're notified when you're examined because the JPs were offended by the message in XI for some reason. I know what the text said but to be offended by it is silly as hell.
