I am probably going to wait a bit after the PS4 has been released. I don't see in buying a new console if there's only 1-2 games that I want to actually play on or near launch.
The last system that I bought on launch with all the released games was the Sega Dreamcast, that was a fun system but too bad it's run was short.

Personally I think of console is your thing then its not a waste of money. If you play games on multiple venues then yeah probably better to wait.
If I played 360 only like I used to then yeah I'd probably go buy a new console....buttttt now I mostly just play PC so I can be frugal and wait.

Also, I worked retail and sold xbox/ps3 when they came out. Solely because of that I won't buy a console on release. Okay not solely, I play PC games more than anything anyway so it's whatever. To be honest, we got waaaaaaay more PS3s back than we did Xbox, so there's that.

I can be on any day between 8:30am - 5 PM est, earlier on Tuesday and Wednesday but never much later unless my life is being weird.
