I dunno, sometimes I think FTP games are ruining the industry. I was looking at some "free" games to put on my iPad, and one of them (a DC game of all things) had a section for in-game purchases. For one expansion, they were going to charge $99.00, and that was just one of them. People get addicted to these sub-par games and pump their hard earned money into these "free" games, and then they wonder why they can't pay their electricity bill. Sure, these game companies make boatloads of money, but it's just proving that games to the salesperson has nothing to do with quality; it's just about hooking your audience and squeezing every penny they can.
