They're stubborn if they aren't properly/diligently trained. They're an extremely independent and intelligent breed. :x If they aren't properly trained and socialized they'll walk all over you.

Originally wanted to get a Husky, but they don't meet the size limitations placed by our complex. Shibas fit perfectly though, and are very good watchdogs to boot. Need to be heavily monitored early on though.
huskys are like the same thing and loud as hell xD i still want a husky someday :P but everyone has one, its so mainstream :<
Actually Huskies are quiet in terms of barking (and EXTREMELY friendly) by nature, which accounts for the popularity. Though they are VERY vocal in other ways. Get bored easily too. :3
My old roommates had a solid white Siberian, he was adorable and very vocal, though not annoying. He got bored very easily though. Would nudge you if you left him alone for more than 5 minutes.
