They came and installed the box for it today, they did the cables earlier. It's included in the rent so it doesn't cost us anything
I think U-verse is supposed to get fiber in our area soonish, or at least *** 802.11N (i'm locked at ... G? it's so stupid....)

ISPs are very helpful here lol, except the one we had before because they won't cancel the contract so we have to pay another year for internet we're not using. ***.

ATT is kinda helpful as long as you get someone from the states helping you (if I call them and get some overseas guy I just hang up, or just ask for a admin... *** wasting my time with them morons who read a manual...)
Everyone that answers is in Sweden here and sometimes they'll even send a guy out to hook it up for you if needed :| Very polite too and they always know how to fix the problem

yeah outsourcing is a MAJOR problem with most companies that i've interacted with... i'm sorry but I just can't *** understand your indian/arab accent... you want me to do what? plug it in where? WHAT DID YOU CALL MY MOTHER?!
If I get someone stateside they'll usually be able to troubleshoot it REALLY well... or at least get someone out there within a day.

Thats about the same as my connection almost. rated as 150mb but realistically (speedtest.net and real word use) I get 180mb,but my upload is 12mb,but rarely breaks 8mb
Only other differences,I have roughly a 12ms ping (closest server also under 50miles) but I get faster than 99% of ireland :D I am the 1%

This is the best possible connection you can get here,and its pretty damn expensive. But sweden is well known for awesome and affordable internet
Mobile internet is pretty fast these days here and most new apartments are installing fiber when they build them, this one isn't exactly new so they only just now installed it. If you live in a house and can't get fiber you can get like 24 mb/s at least which isn't too bad (depending on what you're doing). You can also get a connection pretty much anywhere in Sweden lol. Can get reception on your phone out in the middle of a forest as well.

Our mobile data coverage is terrible. Outside a town,practically zero.Hell unless you're in one of the 4 main cities,you're not even getting 3G (I dont get proper 3G speeds very often =\)
There's only a few places you can get this connection,the main cities and like a dozen more towns. Everyone makes a big deal of where I live yet its a shithole,but everyone wants to come here,move here,open shop here,etc its HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE. But works to my advantage in some ways.
