Edit: My original point to ohji though,was steam/xbox will continue your download/update from where it leaves off if you lose connection. PS3 starts from scratch for some HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE reason (probably to try sell more PS+ now I know this lol)

If Chesma pops, just run all over the place kiting him until you also find Tammuz. Then kill Tammuz and warp away so you can hit another zone.
That way you don't risk more abyssite upgrades than you have to.
