Well, next year looks like it's going to be a blast. Here's the list of books the students are going to be reading:

House on Mango Street
Jane Eyre
Twelfth Night
Macbeth
To Kill a Mockingbird

Also, some poetry on the Cambridge Curriculum list including Percy Shelley's Ozymandias. I'm going to be working with Sophomore Honors students, and my IMT's teaching style is interactivity including lots of papers, posters and each student has free reign on a number of laptops. She has no format for her papers, and that means no five paragraph essays, which is awesome. She's like the anti-Common Core. Also, she is the adviser for Student Government and the newspaper, both of which she said she wants me to help with. Sooooo... yeah, next year is gonna rock.

Well, my roommate is a grown man. He doesn't take crap from anyone... but, he just had a fight with his girlfriend and I heard screaming/hollering from outside... I looked out to find him and his girl in each other's face and she was antagonizing him to the point where he was bawling/crying/screaming at her to gtfo away from him.

...starting to like her less.

Macbeth is a thinker. I like it.

I've never heard of it before this past semester. From what I hear though, that book is like her bread and butter. So it should be interesting to read. I'll have all summer to do it, so at least I can pace myself. I'm looking forward to it, though. I've heard great things about it.

My absolutely favorite Shakespeare play. Only problem is, I haven't read it fully since high school, so this one's going to be fun to get into.

Nothing stopping me besides my short attention span for most things lately. x.x I haven't read a book not required by a class in like... a year and a half I think. I don't know why!
