Getting sick;; Yet accepted a 5 hour shift tomorrow >_>
So much vitamin C in my system right now, holy balls
Just tell yourself, "I don't have time to be sick!" I don't remember this actually working until I became a parent, so it may not work for you yet, but it's at least worth a try.
And if that won't work... Just tell it that I said you're not allowed to be sick. For some reason, germs are afraid of me, so it might listen.
We have bullies in Swedish schools but it's mostly words and not physical because that would be punished quickly but because of Friends (anti-bullying thing) it's not that common anymore. We learn early on that it's not right
I'm still kind of amazed you guys have security guards at schools though (and metal detectors)

My immune system is total *** >:/ im like the ultimate germ magnet ;;
My dog is too nice. :x I mean, he barks at everyone who comes within 30 feet of the door/fence (including the neighbors, who share the porch and have every right to be here >.>), which is good. He's a good guard dog.
But then I was wandering around the house doing random chores, I went into the spare room, did some stuff, shut the light off, shut the door, and left. And then I lost Dante. I knew he was inside somewhere because Pixel was inside and they go in and out together because even though they put on a good show of fighting and sibling rivalry, they really are inseparable. Anyways, whatever. I lost Dante. And it turns out that when I was in the spare room, he followed me in (no surprise, he follows me around most of the time and every time I walk out of the bathroom I trip over him because he lays in front of the door until I finish my business <.<) and he scurried underneath the spare bed (also no surprise, he likes dark enclosed spaces, such as behind couches and under beds), and when I turned the light off and left I didn't know he was there so I didn't give him time to come out.
ANYWAYS! Whatever! Long story short, my dog is so darned quiet that I lost him and he didn't whimper, whine, or bark. He sat in the dark and stared at the door until I found and rescued him. Darn it Dante, that's super sweet, but if you had cried at least a little I could have found you so much sooner!

The security guards and metal detectors go way beyond bullying, lol.
I wish my dog was tiny like yours >_> Mine is big and likes to sleep on top of me or steal most of the bed (though it's nice with her at my back, she's like a portable heater)

GAH! I miss the days when guys had beef they would just pop each other in the face. Disruptive, but at least there weren't as many suicides.

Yeah that part wasn't about bullying, just something that seems kind of unreal to me >.>

If I could figure out what I did to improve mine, I'd let you know. I used to get sick pretty easily. It's probably something to do with the fact that I work in a fairly dirty environment, deal with the public, and I have a tendency to forget things like washing my hands before eating when I take breaks. I eat the germs and their power becomes my own! ... Or something.

They're not in every school, if that's any consolation. We didn't have them. We had guys who would wake up at the butt crack of dawn to hunt before school, and locked their rifles in their cars during school too.
I didn't have them at my school either. A district over (and many others close) needed them though. It's one of the reasons I was thankful growing up in a rural area, lol. It was pretty safe. There was one time the school got locked down for a gunman on the loose in the woods behind our school. Sighted on our nature trail, was scary! But he was never on campus as far as we knew and not school/student/faculty related at all.

My two still hog the bed. :-( Dante sleeps on our feet, and Pixel sleeps by my side on the outside, which forces me to scootch well into the middle, which is my husband's territory, so we end up smooshed like sardines.
But... I like it. ^^ It's comforting to wake up and be able to feel the three people I love most all touching me. My man at one side, one dog at the other side, and the other dog on my toes. <3
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
