Adult Swim and Cartoon Network really have gotten bad lately. Quality of shows have just gone down the tubes. Not just that, i flipped it on a while back and wtf i saw a non-cartoon show on it! Adult Swim just isnt what it used to be either.

Other side of that arguement is, maybe i am just getting old >_>

Nope, you're right. The golden age of AS is gone. They don't even give a ***about their bumps anymore, instead just throwing in obscure loops or pictures of dogs in paintings or whatever. I miss the old days when ATHF, Harvey Birdman, Space Ghost, The Brak Show and Sealab (amongst others) were on the screen. Ah, nostalgia.

They have definitely gone down hill. There are a few still decent shows that get aired but now days they mostly have either some very HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE cartoons or some reality based *** that seems Jackass-esque. Early morning on CN they aire some okay ones, like older Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, and Scooby-Doo.

Really tho, Cartoon Networks downfall was when they replaced Toonami in 03 or 04 (heck if I remember anymore) with that 'Miguzi' due to violence (then hypocrited themselves by showing Naruto).

Adult Swim (to me) died when they lost Futurama and stopped airing Anime every night. It's the Seth McFarlane Hours now...

they have..um Bleach on it, and Naruto uncut and some other stuff that I don't think I stayed up for that night lol. Bleach is up to the Tosen v Kamamura fight. I loved that ***.

the new Toonami isn't like the old Toonami. Basically it's just a revamp of their Saturday Night Actn lineup just with the Toonami name and some new promos. It's just not the same

The new node stuff is pretty cool stuff, I can't wait until Scragg finishes it. I was testing it out today and I absolutely love it.

Suppose some of them did get stale, which is why it got canned, but I think ANYTHING is better than some of the live-action stuff, 2 hours of KoTH and 4 hours of American Dad/Family Guy every night now
