When drunk, there have been many times when I'd have taken some good gaming over a woman. Whiskey *** is an awful awful thing. Being Irish, I'm sure you know.

My phone alarm went off at the right time, since it adjusted automatically. But I was asleep enough that I woke up to it, and I shut it off without realizing that was why I woke up. Looked at the clock next to my bed and thought I had another hour before I had to be up.
I woke up at 7:50, thinking it was 6:50. Looked at my phone and did a double-take. Grabbed my laptop to check on there, too. Brushed my teeth, showered, and dressed. Clocked in at work at 8:13.
I was due in at 8, so only 13 minutes late. Not too bad since I'll inevitably make up that time later in the week. If only I could get myself moving that fast every morning.

Yes, because if I'm talkative and around women I'm much more likely to ask one out, etc than if I'm feeling sullen and shy. Sugar and coffee has made me somewhat confident today as well.
