I know my new one does but am using that system as a server, can't recall on this box... I should get more ram for it too, since it only has 4GB. And dont listen to Uri. EDIT: Just read youre building one as a sever? Why? Oh I have the server built already, that stuff came in awhile ago. Just ordered a stick of ram and this video card, no SLI support on it. But I may upgrade the motherboard/cpu in a few months. As to the server: multiple reasons, but for NAS with redundancy, and access management. I have it up and running I just need my friend to rebuild the raid5 array as I don't really understand Linux well enough to do software raid. I haven't tinkered with boot time lately, but I would like to see what I can get it down to :D yeah i'm at least gonna get it so I can install XIV on it, and my OS.
and maybe my current games I play ... or at least 1 or 2 games... Ramuh.Urial said: » Sylph.Ixe said: » Ramuh.Urial said: » Bleh they're still slowed down by server side lag. I get it to some extent, managed to set a static IP on it, I just don't get the deal with the mounting partitions and ***yet, not to mention trying to get raid to go. The issue is I'm using Xencloud and I'm not even sure if it supports it. Once you get used to it Linux is a great OS. I just couldnt get used to it. :(

Honestly probably won't do XIV ... but i'll at least put the games i'm playing on them (non MMO) I can use my other HDD for those, since they grow with updates and whatnot. |
