Oh I have the server built already, that stuff came in awhile ago.

Just ordered a stick of ram and this video card, no SLI support on it. But I may upgrade the motherboard/cpu in a few months.

As to the server: multiple reasons, but for NAS with redundancy, and access management. I have it up and running I just need my friend to rebuild the raid5 array as I don't really understand Linux well enough to do software raid.

Eh, I just realized with most games server side delay was hindering my SSD so I just put all my games on my 7200 unless they're offline.
But I also got my SSD 2.5 years ago when it was an arm even for an 80gb.

lol I used to have a 8-9 second boot on IDE with XP years ago. I haven't tinkered with boot time lately, but I would like to see what I can get it down to :D

Yeah my dad got me a smaller one (40GB) like 4 years ago for Christmas and I upgraded it when it was ridiculous as well. Worth it tho.

I get it to some extent, managed to set a static IP on it, I just don't get the deal with the mounting partitions and ***yet, not to mention trying to get raid to go. The issue is I'm using Xencloud and I'm not even sure if it supports it.

my friend puts her cat on a leash >.> it's weird lol.


Honestly probably won't do XIV ... but i'll at least put the games i'm playing on them (non MMO)

I can use my other HDD for those, since they grow with updates and whatnot.
