gawd I hate drs and insurance and ... bleh :| my mother has this neuro ... disease thing that can be treated ... but they're giving her the run around cause of her insurance (oh did I mention she can DIE from this? Yeah... ) there has been things said and things done that have pretty much ensures us a nice legal battle after this is done... -sigh-

our whole family is behind her on this, after this is all said and done (we obviously are going to wait for treatment before we start up legal stuffs) were not going to be nice at all

I think the thing really that infuriates us is the dr blatantly told us that she did this to herself (when in fact he gave her the clean bill of health 20+ years ago... which should have PREVENTED this)

I think he means when they signed up for the insurance? So it's not a pre-existing condition and they don't have to pay for it

This is why people go for annual physicals where they catch this sort of ***. I'm sorry your mom is in a shitty position, but she needs to take some responsibility.
