btw spath, if you looked down the bridge was scorched with ash. That was your only warning of the dragon coming, besides the obvious feeling that something bad is going to go down here.
Also, the opposite direction of the bridge (to the right instead of left coming out of the door) was Solaire. Talk to him twice and he'll give you a very important online item.

You'll want to run as fast as you can (take any heavy armor off and get the fastest roll) and run twoards the dragon.
You'll see some stairs going down to the right, go down them.
At the bottom of the stairs you have 2 paths, take the far one and look down, you'll see a bonfire. kick the ladder down to open a shortcut.

You basically use toffuti cream cheese or some other vegan cream cheese alternative and egg substitutes. I have an egg substitute I use that's made out of flax seeds, or I'll just buy some from a local food co-op.
