12 is worth playing for the experience alone, just don't expect too much from the story. I'm currently replaying it now as well.

You just have to go into it knowing there are problems. They took on more than they should have, not giving enough time for character development and story progression. As you play through it you can notice certain parts being rushed and a very unworthy ending. I know at least one person got fired during development and they dedicated the hardest enemy in the game to him.

I think it was a good idea though, just poor execution and took on a too large of a project / didn't allow enough development time etc.

I feel the same about 13 in some ways, I just didn't enjoy the direction they took with the game. It could of been so much more, but oh well~

I really love 12 for the battle system. 13 felt like 3 steps back and I was really sad about that :/ Same with the huge open world that you can run around and explore (even if you still have a map)

Edit: I don't think that guy was fired, I think he stepped down due to health reasons

Couldn't make it far in that game xD

I'm using some PS3 Component AV cable for my PS2. If I use the whole TV, I think the game looks better in normal settings instead of widescreen settings. I don't know why... but it does.

PS2 definitely works better on older TVs, but I don't have one anymore .-.

In that video I posted, it looks a lot better on that computer monitor for some reason though.

They definitely bit more than they could chew with both 12 & 13.
However, for having a profit MO, and a deadline, they were able to pull off some very great aspects of gameplay and overall atmosphere and vibes that are very worthy of being an FF. It's just a shame it couldn't be more refined without some sort of compromise.

I speak more of 12 than 13 though. I won't even begin to go there ~_~

There's a tiny one we use in the kitchen that I can play PS2 on so I can always just plug my PS2 in there but that's not really comfortable lol

Also, how on earth did I forget that I couldn't change the camera controls for FF12? It feels so weird...

That V2VPro costs like 37 dollars on Amazon and about 50 on Ebay :| I don't think I'll buy it lol.

and someone asked me to give my opinion of the Hyrule Histora when I got it so.. Its like 4 thumbs up! Huge thick book with lots of concept art and information about all the Zelda games! Should get it if you're a fan of Zelda while its cheap.
