Only put about an hour into pokemanz myself.

Ehh, I don't mind for Fire Emblem. I've loved the series since 2003, and I was always curious about it since the release of Super Smash Bros. Melee. I'll support this brand as much as I can!

Nintendo was always "on cart only" though. Like the games were actually complete, and didn't feel like they were "missing something", that DLC magically fixed. I just see this as a bad portent for Nintendo.

The game is complete. These DLC contents just allows you to get important characters from older Fire Emblem games that aren't relevant to the plot of this game in any way at all.

In this case, it's really just levels that have nothing to do with the story and are for fun. First 3 DLC levels give you characters from previous FEs to use if you want. Next few DLC levels are Gold farming, EXP farming, and some other sort of character growth enhancement. Detracts nothing from the game, and also doesn't add any BS. :)

Again, I realize this may not be the case with Fire Emblem, but it certainly allows for them to do that with future titles.. Settle down fanboys lol. I like Fire Emblem and Nintendo just as much as the next guy, if not more so. lol
