Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
It's not as rare as it used to be. Or really, it's just more "accepted" now so girls don't feel the need to deny it as much. Then again, I know plenty of guys who try to run from the "gamer", or even better, "nerd" label. Even a few that post here! It's quite amusing. You are what you are, deal with it bro.

The only time kids seem to freak out now about "omg a girl" is in fps gaming in my experience.
Though the girls are probably so rare there BECAUSE fps gamers are generally fueled by paint-chips anyway.
Reminds me of one of my RL friends (my best friend actually).He's gonna play XIV to "pick up chicks" as he says xD

Also the 'no girls on the internet', meaning no special treatment just because you have bewbs isn't true most of the time still :O A lot of guys are so much more friendly when they know you're female, it's insane sometimes

Admitedly I've reacted that way once.It was only once though throughout the years knowing many girl gamers over different games/platforms,and it was in XI too.Its different when its someone thats super mega awesome that you've semi known for a while,then its "oh hey btw im a girl" and your mind is blown and a table is flipped

My friend is almost as big a nerd as I am.And once his girlfriend called him out on it and he freaked out and hated it

Looking at everything I've played since XI,every other online game/MMO is stupidly easy to play and requires little to no skill.XI is actually far more complex and detailed its insane.
