The movie itself cinematic-ly was spot on. The story however felt tact on and relatively unimportant.

Black Knight weapons aren't really rare. It's more that there's only a few chances to get them (one in the greatswords case) before reaching the Kiln..

The same way any horror movie is a disappointment these days, we are too attuned to them and we expect too much from what they can deliver.

Basically, or at least I am, too used to horror movies to have any remote effect bar-jump scares.

I refuse to watch that abomination of a movie. And no sane person would either. Unless they enjoy disappointment and RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE.
I'm a complete silent hill newb, why is this new movie so horrible man?
Because they're further tarnishing the Silent Hill name for profit. For me, anyway.

Besides that, the movies are, in no way, similar to the games they're based on. And by based on, I mean the writers claim they closely follow the plot of the games.

Well, besides the part where there is a car accident, they go to a school and there's a female cop named Cybil. Oh, and snowash/fog. From the underground coal mine fire that didn't happen. Silent Hill =/= Centrallia.

They also use absolutely no monsters from the first game in the movie based on the first game. They instead used monsters from Silent Hill 2 and lolHomecoming.

so my roommate dragged me along with him to gamestop because he was trading in 18 games for store credit.
Apparently since he had a gamestop card and it was some sort of special promotion day or some ***like that he got an extra +40% to his trade in value deal. resulting in him getting $120.

So he picked up ni no kuni and dead or alive 5.

We ended up playing them for the past 12 hours straight (with intermissions for the super bowl)
