Everybody keeps on saying "lolPA", and I agree that can be true up to a certain degree.
Still I found out that damage can be pretty nice while on XPing or small farming sessions, as long as you hit mobs with low def and especially those weak to piercing.
It's also still useful in old-game content like Salvage and Nyzul, others as well.

Which Atmas would you use on a good PA build?
Current options I can see are: VV, Harvester, Stout Arm, Apoc and RR.

VV as a given, uncertain about Apoc (would be ~12% TA or slightly less, which is still a lot), dunno about Harvester vs Stout Arm (basically 5% DA vs Attack, which is very very effective on Penta) and RR.
The latter would do a lot in melee damage, but the ratio should be around 70% WS/30% TP (if not even higher favouring WS). RR would also add a small % of damage in WS, since Penta is 30%STR/DEX.

Opinions?

and im not sure but i think Drakesbane will do more DMG since it
STR Modifiers is 50% and VV + RR + Stout Arm = OMG !

It also crits. But that's beside the point seeing as, you know, SAM can't use Drakesbane chap.

Ops, yeah 20%, not 30.
And kinda pointless for Drakesbane, since SAM can't use it.

So, any ideas which ones you people would pick among the 5 I named? Or maybe even others I forgot to mention!

I think I'd like Alpha&Omega for it due to Triple Attack *and* Attack, but eh. In Abyssea on SAM I'd just give it up, switch to Gales/Ultimate/whatever and use Tachi: Jinpu.

Unless the mob absorbs/is strong to magic or wind attacks, of course.

I went to abyssea as sam a couple of times in abyssea.

Once when I was going from 80 to 85 and once going from 85 to 90. Exciting stuff.

More or less the same here, but I went once more for skillup and Jinpu testing too.
