Severe psychosis is fun and marketable! I ended up preordering CE a few weeks ago, pretty hyped for it. The first game definitely got me more than a few times, so I'm definitely looking forward to getting more thrills out of the sequel.

I have the first one on PC, so would much rather have 2 on my PC also :x
That and blockbuster is always so *** slow with getting new games in :x

I had these amazing headphones that I used to use when playing this, blew me the *** away.
I got the demo on my PS3 with surround sound .... I nearly ***myself.
well picked up my CE a couple of hours ago. Somewhat distressed that it doesn't go through steam, I like how New Vegas did, so I anticipate a shitty DRM. But yeah, gonna be dope!
i wish i could play the real dead space. i bought the wii version and turned it off like 15 minutes in.

Dead Space PC Version Perplexed With Control Problems and Issues – Not Fluid Enough
Granted, this was written when the game came out for PC. But I've seen numerous accounts of it not being addressed years later. So I'd be shaky on the getting the PC version if the first one had such issues. Did you get past the asteroid shooting part? If not, that's when I heard a lot of people saying the controls were really working against them.

Well kinda pissed that PC isn't getting any DLC again, especially since the Dead Space 2 DLCs continue the story. Really shitty, EA. I dunno what's with developers lately and not releasing DLC for PC versions of games. Christ.

The multiplier is so fun. or maybe because I am with my friend and we are just screaming the whole time haha. I like this one better then the first one. and i love the finger gun you get if you beat hardcore haha
Yeah there are definitely tons of improvements over the first game. DLC just woulda been the icing on the cake though I guess since I do enjoy the story.

All things considered, PC's still somewhat superior as a platform for this kind of game thanks to control schemes and the fact that I can pretty much augment the FPS to whatever I want it to be instead of capped at 30, making it seems just so... slow. I usually just turn off VSync and then force is through nVidia to keep it at a crisp 60 FPS, which makes it seem so much more fluid.

Yup. FPS will always be better on the PC, if not for the KB&M control scheme, then the modding community, free DLC (normally) and superior community.

I dislike the Dead Space games so far, because for some reason, they seem to think cheap startle moments and having a limited inventory means it's a horror game. I'd probably enjoy them a lot more if they didn't attempt to color your disposition the wrong way jumping in. If looked at as a Survival Adventure and not Horror, it stands up pretty well. I know Labels are kind of arbitrary, but it's like when you request "No Onions" and that ***has onions on it. Sure you can take them off(Unless they chop them up to a *** nanometer, goddamn White Castle) but still! Experience ruined!
Some of the parts are genuinely creepy though. Sure it isn't as scary as Amnesia, but really, when you have a high powered super laser in your hands with which to dispatch fools, how scary can it be?
