Okay, well one gate takes you to the flan area.
Then there's a gate that takes you to Yasch 010
Then another is a wild artifact gate for bresha 300

Omega has been the most challenging DLC. I hope she puts up a fight if the DLC is real. Long Gui in FFXIII was by far the most challenging monster for me. But in FFXIII-2 it's a weakling >__>

the steppe is the best place for tier 3-5 upgrades for monsters, mostly around the pond during rainy/sunny weather. Its also great gil and cp, so if you need tier 1-2 upgrades, grind here anyways and use the gil to buy it while farming the tier 3-5 upgrades.
tier 3 can mostly be found on the east side I think, around the gate. Tier 4 and 5 mostly around the pond on the other side.
mana is from the cats and the frogs, STR is from the gobs, the yellow ones, potent I think is from all and buyable.
might need to change the weather to find the mechanical upgrades.

if you keep going along with the story , eventually chocolina sells the upgrade materials in her shop.

You can find Potent Orbs from Buccaboos for Common Drops in Archylte Steppe. Also the same for Potent Essense items with the rain weather by going to the big pond. Requires the Yellow Cactuar-(Found by storm weather), Chocobo or Fragment Skill to get there. Aim for Mud Frogs and Swampmonk. You can also encounter Microchus that commonly drop Potent Crystls at the Pond with Rain Weather.
is it me or is odinblade/bolt stronger than in paradisum and arcus chronica with 160/160 fragments.
havnt been able to test, assuming the weaps u talkin about are the ones u gotta farm from yomi? trapz or w/e.

They're the strongest weapons lol. It's not you.
nah the ones you have to farm long gui for or chocobo race but even then yomi weapons in term of magic/attack get beaten out buy the odinbolt/blade.

That's some s**t lol i got all happy and was like yay Arcus chronica after i spend 112,500 gil i compare it to my odinbolt i went from :D to -.- in 10 seconds.

Lol you now you see Odinbolt/Odinblade are the best.
by the time u get 160 fragments, there is no point to keep going really. by then u have most of the achievements and trophies already.
currently sitting on 160 frags, 30/31 achievs, and like 3mil gil lol. all chocobos maxed out as well as lightning and kichu. Ive been missing the game for a few days now :(

i have to wait for next dlc i have all achievements and frags but i still hv to level ligtning and chichu who i named brittney lol.

I now have a serious issue.. I went to the void beyond and was apparently supposed to throw mog behind some ***to get some gate seals, and now I can't get back there..
and I went there but didn't notice anything and left, and now I don't have a *** clue where I'm supposed to go or do, I look up a walkthrough and it says that a place called Academia is supposed to be open for me, it's not.

Did you try to close the gate to retry it? then once u get it, can re open gate.

Yomi is annoying.
In Paradisium is sweet when you attack. Black feathers come out. Yet, the doll face on it is kinda creepy looking. Lol. Ochu won't put out, so, I don't have Serah's weapon yet. D:

i just beat the game last night....
i still have to unlock all the paradox endings and watch the secret ending.
but so far i'd prob rate it an 8.5~9. its fun and addicting. i just hate some of the stuff they did with the battle system. (i'm almost maxed crystarium already)

there is still no definite confirmation if the DLC will even bring the finish lol.
just recently had some convos with some people about this game, seems a good # of ppl dont know how to paradigm shift as the last move of the bar goes off for a free full ATB bar. so just a reminder to anyone who checks this thead, if you dont already shift at the end of an atb bar, start doing it~

So the DLC comming at the end of the month lets u play Sazh for his scenario AND bring him to ur party. Im hoping not just as a monster.

Sazh's awesome blitz attack as Commando or a awesome Synergist and he be worth my cash for the game.
