I'm not sure what we're doing yet to be honest. A couple of RL friends of ours are playing the game also, so we might go with them. However, just to be safe, what is the shard everyone is planning on playing on? :)

it's a PvE RP server.

the other PvE servers were sooooo shitty with shitty WoW kiddies in them. But this server was so nice and helpful.

I love PvP and feel that open world PvP gives the game a more realistic feel than PvE-oriented setups, since it makes the conflict between factions more of a factor in your gameplay. I understand that it's not for everyone though.

Well, I think they are upset that they can't really control opposing faction wardstones instead of just the contested ones in scarlet gorge. The only real PvP on PvP servers though are in the warfronts just like the PvE servers from what I've been reading.

But I've never been one to PvP unless someone says dancer sucks, then I go brenner them XD.

Most people don't do this. Those that do, the trick is not to feed them. Wait to respawn until they leave (won't take long), or use getaway tactics asap.

Also, it's not like these people only exist on PvP servers. They're the same ones that diaga pulls, steal NMs, etc.

That's something they can tweak in the future. If it was going to be a shitton of whining because x calling crushes y I'd care a little more, since a lot of people profess an interest in PvP but don't understand the rock-paper-scissors mechanics involved.

Once they add Port Scion and similar areas, PvP is gonna explode on RIFT. Port Scion is a PvPvE area like The Abyss in Aion where you can supposedly call your own rift invasions and whatnot. Word is they're adding a dungeon that has to be PvP'd for to access, too. We'll see what happens, but this game may be the first where I really get into PvP hardcore-like.
