Sobek? Whats the easiest way to kill this guy, and by easy i mean group set up. Just preparing for the trials to get the Kannagi.

In that video I think I used RR/MC/Apoc, but RR/GH/Apoc would be much better. That was the first time I had ever even fought the NM so I had no idea what to expect.

From checking your profile I see you have RDM at 90... RDM/NIN can solo Sobek pretty quickly if you really wanted to do that solo.

Really? I would of thought that his trunk move, Tyrant Tusks, would be a one shot kill. I read many of the testimonials were people took one and died. Any idea on the how this is done?

Tyrant Tusk will only have the "Death" effect if the damage from the ability would put you below half of your maximum HP (after cruor buffs). At least this is what I've heard, and so far it seems to be accurate.

Here is the video: 85RDM/NIN solo Sobek. He even only had 2 atmas when this fight was recorded.

Soloed Amhuluk in 42 minutes on first try, stright tank as NIN/DNC.
I'm gonna try Turul later today, should be a way easier.
Will post pictures this week when I will do this again, I didn't bother taking any because I was not expecting the strategy would have worked.
