Not really. If she can stay slim and do something she enjoys what's the problem with it? Not all of us HAVE to stay away from trigger points, some of us actually have self control. Learning self control is a big aspect of weight loss.

If she can play FFXI and stay slim then there's nothing wrong with it.

And yes, I do believe you can lose weight and do what you want. I know plenty of people who were overweight playing MMO's, lost it and still play to this day.

I wouldn't know what they do. I have motivation. I don't need a T.V or a personal trainer to tell me, "Hey you need to lose weight!". Looking into a mirror should be enough, but clearly, it isn't.

You do realise people are different, and pointing out something you excel in, whilst belittling someone else makes you seem incredibly arrogant?

If you can adopt better habits and incorporate them into your daily life, there's no reason as to why you shouldn't do something you enjoy.

I used to weigh like ~225 pounds back in highschool, I was 6'1 so It wasn't overly obvious, but I was seriously out of shape. Up until my junior year of highschool, I had been the fat kid all my life, and that year I lost like 40 pounds. Does that mean I never touched a bag of chips or unhealthy food again? No, just means I learned how to control myself.

8 hours a day and a FFXI themed wedding may be a bit much (my own opinion that is), but if they can find a balance between the game and putting effort and dedication into getting healthier and maintaining it, I don't see the problem.

Right on for trying to be healthier.

watever it was.. going on tv... chance to win a wedding.. or just motivation to get healthy... the end result is the same. i am a healthier person and will live a better life!

oh and tejx you yourself said u gained 40lbs... so i gained more than you? your issue is clearly a tv show was the thing that helped me lose it? if you cared so much about the weight and health aspect.. how i lost it wouldnt be your concern.. would just be the bottom line. that i did.

As for the jackass complaining about the thread, why can this couple not be proud of their achievement? It may not seem like much to you, but if they are used to doing nothing but sitting at a desk all day every day then it's more of a challenge than you realise. Many people who are very overweight are mentally defeated and do not believe they can change themselves, the journey this couple go through is a good sign of encouragement to others in their position.

If they want to share the experience I say go for it and well done taking that first step, keep working hard at your goal!

So yeh Tejx until you can provide something more impressive I suggest you stfu.

... lmao ... I have to say im a lil amazed that ppl are so supportive. specialy after they left a ls full of ppl that for some god forsaken reason trusted them.... "oh btw we're changin serves" 1 min befor the log off and bounce on 'em. leaving them with no way to recrut in that ls at all.

I don't think I remember good things about you Solidyuna, when I talk to a friend later I'll ask why I have those feelings, as he remembers who the annoying people on Shiva were.

we have never confirmed or denied anything other than we are still in the process of losing weight and all couples will go back for a final weigh in!!

You should probably only speak about things you know of. I told every single person who was interested in joining me in that LS that it was a temporary LS for people to socialize in and help each other with catching up on content. You'll notice most of the members.. ALL of the members, were behind in game content to some degree, hence the name "Ketchup". While I will say that us leaving server was sudden (we were not even entertaining the idea of leaving until the day prior, which we decided to do), not a soul in that LS expected (or SHOULD have expected) for it to be anything other than temporary.

I had stated prior that I would probably either be joining TSD or making another LS, but more than likely would be joining TSD as I was not looking to be the leader of another LS...

They seemed to have joined Exodus.. lol
