Fudo My New Toy Advice

ok so got fudo earlyer this week (masamune) and have been playing about with atma's etc etc


just wounder on takes/improvements i might of overlooked thanks in advance

TP set improvement AF3+1/2 body, dusk+1.


WS improvements, 6/7 STR ring , twilight body , light belt.

V helm. It's not hard to get and it's better than Twilight

well in all fairness its only 2 STR better than twilight..so its not a HUGE issue with your build.. I would say Aguinus Belt for WS or get the light belt (as you mentioned) and the respective light Gorget (or snow i think fudo procs off snow..so the snow belt would work too...so as you get your isgibind hearts for 90 masamune you can go ahead and snag one of the belts as they are 100% drop from the dragon)

2 STR for a piece he most likely already has and just using twilight cause it's twilight, or 2 str that's VERY easily obtained.

i have V helm but i noticed a few more whiffs with it, i sorta subtracked the -2STR for 24ACC +10dex tbh

Only thing that additional ACC/DEX will do is help with DA, not WS accuracy.

unkai neck is in WS set as when i upgrade to sam +1 AF3 body i will be shy of 100tp by just a little bit thats all atm, when it goes+2 i will repalce it with snow

Would this be reason enough to sacrifice 2 STR?

Purely theoretically speaking. With the inclusion of RR atma and Cruror buff etc I'd be surprised if his accuracy isn't capped with Varangian Helm, especially if he uses Twilight Body over Byrnie +1 which more than covers the -stats on Varangian Helm.

Edit: I use Varangian Helm for multiple hit WS such as Penta on SAM and I'm happy with the results (I even took out 4 Polearm merits).

Don't see why everyone's in a panic about -acc and DEX+. Varangian Helm is better than twilight helm, in terms of stats that contribute to Fudo's damage (+12 STR +24 ATK > +10 STR +25 ATK)

There's a +80~90 WS ACC Bonus for 1 Hit WS, and not only that but if you have all 3 Futherance Abyssites, that's +40 DEX.

Outside of abyssea I use twilight helm over varan to help land my DA's, but in abyssea the -acc is hardly noticeable.
