Ok so. I registered in GW and download this client.
I run the game (with windower) and when i am logged in i open GW client.
But that crashes my game all the time.
Then i restart the game and it says that i have to "run as admin" (thicked the box already in the properties).
PS: running on Vista.

Go in Safari on your ipad, to http://guildwork.com, make sure you login then click on 'Characters' on the left pane, then point on your character and select 'Remote chat'. Note that the guildwork client has to be running.

But on related note: conflicts with Spellcast I believe when using in-game commands.
"//r" is understood as raise by spellcast.
"//reply aggressor" is understood as the ja by spellcast.
Pretty sure this applies to all in-game spellcast commands.

Another thing: How can I get my ffxiah character profile to update from GW?... As lv90 empyweapons don't work in LSC.

This I am not sure of. Should be able to do a //gw flush and get all the gear on your GW profile.

Not that I am aware of. As long as the client is running and I am logged into it, I have no problems. Might post on the GW forums and maybe stan can help you.

Running on Windows 7 every time I load up my game it says unable to read character please "Run as admin" I run it as admin every time and still nothing, saw that another person had the same problem but was never answered as well.

I got around this by starting Guildwork AFTER I already had FFXI started and was logged into a character. I've never gotten it to work running before FFXI.
Trying that and it keeps saying Detaching from Draupnir (Cerberus)
When it did that to me before I had to kill the prosess through task manager as it was still running then restarted programme

I had moved servers a few months ago but for some reason my Caladbolg lvl85 isn't showing up on my profile on my new server, Leviathan. How can i fix this? I tried gearing it on my DRK logging off/on a few times a couple times updating my que on FFXIAH but nothing?? How can I fix this?

my CC doesn't teach it unfortunately, they teach useless stuff like French... (and some others that I don't recall, and of course Spanish but it has uses...)
since the move to windower plugin, anyone having a problem with updates? it hasnt picked up the lv.85 ragnarok that i idled in for about 12 hours even though it says it updated 2 hours ago. and for some reason, it thinks i got 95 ragnarok 5 days ago and then says 2 days ago, i got lv.80? x.x

Is this true for older gear? Trying to get my armageddon to show, have had it for several months. Didn't get the Linkshell site to catch it at 80, so now it says I have no weapon.
Am using guildwork client, it says welcome when I log in.
i'm an xbox360 player i never used windower or stuff like that. I just tried this gw client installer on laptop and it said its unknown client possibly harmful? Not even sure if i dl this it will link to me cuz i'm playing on the 360 though. I hope to update my profile with my caladbolg though and tonight i just got my rhongo80 so that should upload no problem.
You need to get the Guildwork plugin from here: http://guildwork.net/windower/installation. You need to take that plugin and put it in your plugins folder in your windower folder. After you have the plugin in the right place. You can type //load guildwork or hit your console key and type load guildwork to load the plugin.
