The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
outside waiting for them to call numbers, holy *** over a hundred people. i'm #54 and i was here early
OO, it was 5 minutes. Time to go :3
Gamestop here are opening at 8am (its 5:21am now) which is earlier than their usual 9:30am.So I have to stay awake,go down around 7:30 and go from there. No midnight opening ftl
I was planning on heading down there at around 11:30 but I fear the line is going to be ginormous. :(
Got it and installing now. Was a really big event, bigger than MW3/BF3.
i am loving this game so far <,<
I GOT IT!!!!
Collector edition game and guide is mine!!!!! i was lucky, all the nukes from school went to the gamestop at the mall, i, having lived in the area before joining the navy, went to a lesser known one only a few blocks away. only 50 people there, and got plenty of time to play demo, meanwhile buddies are still waitin for their copy while im back home installing. feelsgoodman.jpg Just started playing and....
Well, this is kinda ***. I paid for a physical copy of my game but I only get a disc for shits and giggles and still have to download it? I preordered through GameStop to avoid the 3 hour download.
Game is very different to anything I've played in the past (I dont get around much)
BUT.... I killed a chicken and the whole town wanted to kill me!!! It was kinda funny, what was NOT funny was that, I died and the game shutdown after the load screen???? Is that supposed to happen? Death = REAL GAME DEATH! So far I'm not impressed. I buy a physical copy and still need *** steam to play?
Still looking for a way to use my logitech controller to play since apparently only 360 ones work. And there's an annoying as *** screen flicker in the upper right that I can't get to go away no matter what settings I choose... And here I was thinking I'd get to just install and play without jumping through a bunch of hoops to actually make it fun. No midnight opening ftl out of curiosity since i haven't looked into this game TOO much (wanna try to surprise myself with content >.>). what can you turn into in skyrim if anything? morrowind had warwolves and oblivion had vampires... idk about I and II

Game's beautiful T~T I've only taken like, 5 steps and I'm snapping screenshots like crazy.
Spoiler'd for hoog, no story spoilers involved. Just got back from midnight release (I'm on the west coast) and while in line I overheard some guy asking if you could buy dragons in the game . -.

No midnight opening ftl We had midnight openings for Battlefield, gears and MW3 this year so far.Anyways I just got home with my collector's edition.I got there around 7:40am,no one was there, not even staff.Around 10 minutes later another guy shoes up,me being the antisocial *** I am with my big headphones on doesnt have to talk to him. Then a staff member and 2 more people show up,that was it.Now,been up all night......bed time or stay up.... I got it, just played through the intro tonight. Here are my first impressions:
Likes: Pretty much oblivion but more beautiful. all the hyped changes are well implemented, the voice acting, spellcasting. Combat is okay, so far I wouldn't say a huge improvement over oblivion but better, although combat still seems a little airy. Dislikes: not much here, but there were a few things...one, i don't like that you can't view your character in the menu screen. (or can you, I didnt see a way.) And I definitely am not a fan of the Fallout style lock picking, I hope alteration helps me out there later. And as for performance, after about half an hour I had my first crash on PS3. Died then it started to load my auto save and just refused, sat there for at least fifteen minutes before restarting, hopefully that gets fixed. All in all, I'm very excited to be back in an Elder Scrolls game...TO SKYRIM! And one more thing... FFXI is better anyway :P FFXI isn't a ***from an intern at Bethesda compared to any Elder Scrolls game lol.
