does everyone play in first person mode? i feel more comfortable in 3rd person :O
Asura.Chuuuuu said: » does everyone play in first person mode? i feel more comfortable in 3rd person :O Depends on the type of combat and your surroundings. Third person combat has improved significantly since Oblivion, but I find first person easier for casting and archery. Weapon combat seems to be easier to gauge distance and whatnot for when I need to block or when I can get away with a power attack in third person. I feel like first person gives me more immersion for some reason. Well I guess its an obvious cosmetic reason, that you're literally seeing through the eyes of your character.
I mainly play in first person, but I like to run around and such in third person.
Karliah is the new Tali.
i play in 3rd person mostly, and use 1st person for archery and making sure i dont miss any loot in dungeons.
here's my most recent pics I wish there was a way to sneak attack with magic. I love hoping out of a corner and just blowtorching someone's face off with my fire spells.
wow i just found the ebony blade, sweet daikatana. apparently gets stronger with the more friends you kill with it. whelp time to choose which 10 friends get to die ;>.>
just gotta find samurai ish lookin armor to go with it Orcish armor is the most samurai-ish, I believe.

This is what my current sam build looks like: With Orc helm: The hands swap depending on what weapon Im using. Wolf(katanas) and Dragon(ebony greatsword). Not as much as morrowind, but I didn't really like morrowind's orcish armor set either. It looked TOO much like samurai armor. Now that you mention it the Blades head and legs also have a distinct samurai feeling to them.
How you get mods to work for the pc version? i've tried copy pasting it, but it doesn't do anything.
The one i downloaded was the one that shows your play time on the loading screen's. On the topic of Skyrim SAMs, here's mine :D
Really like the look of blades armour on this, didn't like the oblivion version though. Every mod you get from http://www.skyrimnexus.com/ download with the mod manager. then all you do is highlight the mod and hit the activate icon and it installs it for you. Yea body and head are definately good sam pieces to use(I havent reach that part in the game to get any just yet). As far as orc body, I didnt get that feeling from it, could be just the way they did the plating didnt appeal to me~ Speaking of armor, I was a bit let down with the glass armor. While it looks gorgeous viewing it from menus/inventory, when you put it on, it looks a bit like a space suit or some kind of super-hero outfit. Its probably just the bulky look, or the fact that morrowind's glass armor is probably still the best looking glass armor(imo). Its design looks like it was done from gems/crystals etc(like actual glass armor). The glass weapons in skyrim though are great and probably the best of the series. I will note that back on the glass armor subject, it could just be the way its fitted on male characters as with female characters its slimmed down more and does look much better(same with ebony, however ebony is great on both sets, minus feet on males too bulky :/ ) http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=454
Mod that unenchants Nightingale armor (and a few others like the thieves armor) and lets you put your own enchants on it. Ugh made the mistake of stacking magicka each time when leveling up. Now I have 100% cost reduction soooooo is there a mod that allows you to put everything back in health or stamina?
ok this is strange. Second time i'me come to my house and as soon as i enter the breeze home someone else was in their and was just leaving. Can other peaple steal from my house? and if so is their a way to lock it like the other homes?
It happens sometimes when an npc is talking in general near the house and you enter Breezehome around the same time.

Can other peaple steal from my house? and if so is their a way to lock it like the other homes? Your house is programmed to never be stolen from, so your goods are safe. It's just a bug when you strike up conversation near a NPC before going in your home. They'll leave eventually. Open the console and put in this line. player.setav <attribute> <amount> This also works attributes such as health, stamina, magicka, meleedamage, and carryweight. Note that certain attributes (such as carryweight) may revert to their original values upon loading a game. Save before you alter things. then you can mess around with it until you find a balance you like. |
