New Memloc for KParser
Kparser doesn't seem to work even with the new Memloc. I start it up and it never shows anything for player info or any other data present. Ok so parsing logs kinda sorta works, memory parsing just produces blanks.
Did you use the one from the January monthly update thread? I don't always update this since it always added to monthly update thread.
Ok used the one in that thread and that seems to work. What version of KParser should I use? I see a 1.6.6 and a "modified" 1.6.5?
When I click Edit -> Player Information it gives an exception. Code ************** Exception Text ************** System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: InvalidArgument=Value of '0' is not valid for 'SelectedIndex'. Parameter name: SelectedIndex at System.Windows.Forms.ListBox.set_SelectedIndex(Int32 value) at WaywardGamers.KParser.Forms.PlayerInfoDlg..ctor(ParserWindow parentWin) in C:\Users\Gilles\Desktop\Nouveau dossier (4)\src_VS2013CE_SQLCE4_NoUnitTest\kparser\FFXILogParser\Forms\PlayerInfoDlg.cs:line 61 at WaywardGamers.KParser.ParserWindow.playerInformationToolStripMenuItem_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) in C:\Users\Gilles\Desktop\Nouveau dossier (4)\src_VS2013CE_SQLCE4_NoUnitTest\kparser\FFXILogParser\ParserWindow.cs:line 980 at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripItem.RaiseEvent(Object key, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripMenuItem.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripItem.HandleClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripItem.HandleMouseUp(MouseEventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripItem.FireEventInteractive(EventArgs e, ToolStripItemEventType met) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripItem.FireEvent(EventArgs e, ToolStripItemEventType met) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStrip.OnMouseUp(MouseEventArgs mea) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripDropDown.OnMouseUp(MouseEventArgs mea) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmMouseUp(Message& m, MouseButtons button, Int32 clicks) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ScrollableControl.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStrip.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripDropDown.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) Asura.Saevel said: » Ok used the one in that thread and that seems to work. I got it working for the most part, thanks for the MemLoc, I'll be sure to check the Monthly Update thread for new ones. I love the incredibly amount of detail that it gathers and presents, record a fight then drill down afterward.

SE made an update to add unity chat on december 2014, which break the program use the modified version https://www.ffxiah.com/forum/topic/16905/new-memloc-for-kparser/5/#2778822 if you are on a 2015+ server always use the memloc matching your client version there is a tool for that : http://dl.atom0s.com/Game%20Specific/Final%20Fantasy%20XI/KParser%20Memloc%20Finder.7z if you have an old client (before 2015) https://www.ffxiah.com/forum/topic/16905/new-memloc-for-kparser/6/#3160998 if you are on a 2015+ client I'm getting a 404 on those kparser 2015+ links. Anyone mind uploading a "new" copy

Anyone mind uploading a "new" copy i just review all links in these posts now, they should work Hi I play on wings, using Ashita version 3.1.0.3, I really miss Kparser, I used to run it when I played on retail, but I can't get it to work on wings. I am using Kparser 1.6.6.0, using Memloc 0061D5C0. I unloaded ALL addons and plugins. Here is some data that I am seeing.
![]() Any suggestions? Thank you. Hi, forgive the bump but could someone explain to me what i need to do to get kparser working with the current retail FFXI version? I haven't used kparser for a while and I lost the install when I moved to a new pc a while back. Following the advice in this thread I downloaded version 1.6.6 and updated the memloc to 0062d8f0, and I also installed Sql compact 4.0. However I remember there being two additional steps. On page 5 of this thread there are modified sources and a binary program, and I remember needing them to get the program working last time. The problem is when I download them now they're zero bytes and there's nothing to unzip.
Are the modified sources and binary program in the link still valid? Am I missing something else here? If someone could offer some advice I'd appreciate it. Apologies if I'm answering the wrong question here as I haven't used kparser in a very long time (although I find it superior for deep diving and learning), so I cannot answer the question directly.
But if your motive is to have something that is a bit less ephemeral and can store better details than say scoreboard, I find this addon may be able to help you out? You can export xml with some details, of course reading it into something graphically as pretty can be another issue. last memloc for kparser we have in the windower monthly announcements is: 0062B1C8 from 9/11/2023 if 0062d8f0 is from before that it is likely out of date and I would not be surprised if 0062B1C8 is out of date as well.
Lakshmi.Byrth said: » 0062d8f0 for the kparser memlock atm I don't think the memloc I'm using is wrong. The fights tab can parse some mob kills, but no other data shows up. I just downloaded the kparser program fresh to a windows install that never had kparser running before, version 1.6.6, and I think I'm supposed to update the binary and add the modifies sources as per the post on page 5. I remember doing this in the past, but when I download the files linked in this thread now the files are zero bytes. There's no data so I can't unzip them and apply them to the kparser folder. So what I think I'm asking for is how to get the program itself configured correctly, rather than just updating the correct memloc. I know there were some updates since motenten stopped working on the program in 2014 to account for some changes that happened a few years after. Those are the updates I think I need to apply.
It's been 10 years, but did you turn off battlemod. I recall it didn't work properly if battlemod was on. Don't know if that's still accurate.
I don't run battlemod, so there's nothing to turn off
