got to kill it a couple nights ago. man was it a blast to fight it. We had just finished an LS farming alliance and lot of people had left so we only had about 7-8 of us left still. Found out Comet is single target and absorbed by shadows, not sure if that's listed so thought i would mention it. We got full drops and i got the ring. Good times and a new title.

p.s. really looking forward to adjustments to Einherjar as well as feet drop rate. Oh and the mog sack.

The more drops and easier trigger conditions make me curious. I mean, hear about and talk to plenty of people who've pretty much nailed evertyhing in Abyssea. And some people who are struggling - but not a whole lot. But isn't some of the fun, I don't know, NOT getting max drops all the freaking time? Where's the stimulation in running in, getting your crap, and done?

I don't mean to say that I think you should have like a 0.03% drop rate, but I think it's all pretty easy already. I've not really done everything yet, but so far... yeah, not too tough.

Eh, there's just so much content being added, if you have a decent sized shell, even with max drops each time, it's going to take a while to deck everyone out. You don't see very many people running around with 3/3 AF+2, even though if you trigger grellow with TH4 you'll get full drops more often than not (unless we've been insanely lucky).

I think the playerbase, in general, prefers a medium drop-rate. Too easy makes the game stupid. Too hard makes the game a chore.
There's always going to be elitists who will complain when drop rates are adjusted higher. There's always going to be casuals who complain when the drop rates are too low.
It's pretty tough to find the right balance, as a game programmer, I bet. That said, I'm just pleased that S-E is willing to be MUCH more responsive and flexible with updates/adjustments now, when compared with years past.

99% sure by trigger conditions they mean spawn condtions. If they meant !! they'd probably say "stagger conditions."

JP players refer to a "pop set" as a "trigger."

Glad on the coin changes for WoE, but 51%, should be more like 5 mins of first mob attacked. Latest we've had anyone come in is during the 2nd boss mob, which is before 51%, lol, so that will change nothing when it comes to leeches

Given that you have to 1) Get the drop 2) Do a trial involving getting more drops and 3) Do another trial involving even more drops to get the fully augmented piece of armor, I'd say getting the initial drop without having to spend half a day in Abyssea would be preferable. I'm not saying GIVE the stuff away, but just be a little bit less time consuming.

Also consider that you're probably contending with a decent number of people who want the drops as well. I don't know about you, but having to deal with drama over "S/HE GOT MY DROP! FFFFFFFFFUUUUU" time and time again isn't my idea of fun.

Oh yeah, those drops. That makes more sense. I was thinking more along the lines of seals.

This, too, makes sense. Languages are fun. Shoot, it could even be different on different servers or even linkshells, I bet.

No idea. I know people were thinking it was related to the other Timed NMs at one point, not sure what happened with that.

But iirc, kirschy mentioned it hadn't been seen on her server yet.

It's been up for a long time on Bismarck though, our shell has killed it a handful of times.

Why would SE say "Equipment including relic armor and accessories"?
Isn't the "equipment" the relic gear?

Most likely not. Accessories probably refer to the dreamworld dynamis area pieces.
