Problem Logging In

I just downloaded the update for FFXI and after it ended, I tried to access the game. However, it just took me to the FFXI POL screen.

Whenever I click Play to get me to the FFXI "Select Character" screen, it just takes me back to the PlayOnline FFXI page.

Any ideas about what could be preventing me from playing? Thanks.

Never mind, nothing wrong with FFXI.

No, my PlayStation 3 HDD is corrupted and no longer
1.) plays discs
2.) plays downloaded games
3.) allows any downloads

So I'll have to reset my system to factory reset, fun! Also deleting everything!
