Iron Man--The Anime
...is seriously lacking in complexity of plot. Anyone else watching this and /facepalming? I never really got into the actual Marvel comics of Iron Man, but I've followed a few plots of The Avengers and Iron Man is WAY better in that medium than he is in this anime.

I am currently watching the Iron Man Anime. The first five shows were done not all that great. It wasnt untill the 6th show that a new director took over.
After watching it now, its starting to pick up alittle. Im not liking the fact they choose to use Yinsen as a enemy, since they in the movie, were buds.

I've been watching it to kill time and it really lacks a plot as Anye said. It has great animation but that's the only thing going for it at this point in time.

It's almost like they confused Iron Man with Mega Man as Tony Stark trashes another giant robot sent to kill him...

Did anyone see the episode where Wolverine comes in? Logan is so... NOT Logan. He honestly looks skinny, and his voice actor doesn't give him the gruff, masculine personality he's supposed to have. That was honestly the last straw--DE-MASCULINIZING WOLVERINE.

They're coming out with an anime titled Wolverine by the same people who make Iron Man most likely.

To tell the truth, I don't really mind how Logan looks; I do agree that he's a bit on the scrawny side though.
Warren Ellis is supposedly overseeing the Iron Man anime so what gives?
I'm gonna be a *** and say Iron Man sucks because they have to dumb it down with shonen tropes to appeal to Japan's typical anime-watching audience. Madhouse is better than this; they produced Redline recently and it didn't sell to the crowd too well.

So this is an actual TV series with full episodes?
When the trailer came out a while back I was under the impression it was one of those high-budget, animated anthologies with little shorts done by different studios (like the Animatrix and Batman: Gotham Knight), and those always turn out to be great. :/

Pretty much. It's an anime being released in Japan.

The one you mention is very similar to the movie and I am surprised that Marvel is letting the Japanese handle it. The other one is made in the US and what appears for the younger audience called Iron Man: Armored Adventures.
Iron Man: Armored Adventures sucks more, but I havent watched all of it.
