Perfume is totally electric, I wouldn't consider them rock at all, lol. I have all of their songs and none of them have a 'band' feeling, just that Elecropop/Dance thing going on.
Edge (⊿-mix) is the closest to rock they have.
Never heard of School Food Punishment though.

School Food Punishment is a band I found cuz they did the ending theme of an anime I really liked called Eden of the East. Its a real good anime, should check it out if you are an anime fan.

I see I see. I'll listen to some of their stuff, they appear to have a new single that came out last week. And I'm not an anime fan, just happen to listen to music that's in anime, lol. I prefer comedies like Everybody Hates Chris and Family Guy.

*** Dulci, Home Movies is officially on the back burner for our conversations now. I love like 90% of what you listed. My first Magnetic Fields song was "No one will ever love you" and I've loved them ever since. Tom Waits' "I don't wanna grow up" and the resulting cover by Cold War Kids always gets me a little teary for some reason. Must go listen to it now. lol Glad you're posting! <3

edit: This Magnetic Fields song you posted is wonderful. I'd only ever heard Stephin Merritt (that's his name, I finally remembered). I'd not heard this girl sing. She's great. Of course I still prefer Stephin, but I did really enjoy this.

Did anybody ever play a game called Guitarooman? Not only is that game way better than the shitty knock off that it spawned, Guitar Hero (shove that plastic guitar straight up your *** if you like that game), but it also had some of the best, most original music I've ever heard, let alone in a video game.
In no particular order because I can't pick: Finntroll Eluveitie Fairyland Ensiferum And uhm, Epica or some other female fronted band like Nightwish before they became le suck. /nod xD
