Edit: Says Avia on the shoe, that's it. Yeah Avia is the brand. New Balance has a big *** N on the side of their shoes.

Ok, I'm no Tiger but July of 2011 I had shoulder surgery...Didn't bother doing anything after that and got up to 245lbs (I'm 6'2).
I decided I didn't like how I looked so in October of 2011, I went back to the gym. This is a before/after shot just 1 year after I started going back. This is just 3 times a week, an hour and a half on the weights and about 45 mins on the Elyptical machine. I haven't changed my diet whatsoever...I know I could be doing better if I did, but I like beer and food wayyyy to much!!! This is Oct. of 2011 245lbs This is Oct. of 2012 220lbs And this is me shamelessly flexing, hahaha Yea beer is gonna be the killer xD. (that being said, I can't give up the Great Value Cherry Sours!)

Yea, Living in Philly makes it hard. When you grab a cheesesteak and wings for the game, the only thing that goes good with it is a nice tall frosty mug! Hahaha. Digging these new shorts, but there's no way they are size 32. I was wearing size 34 w/o a belt 2 months ago and wore 32 throughout high school @.@

Since I'm hitting the gym again within the first week of january I think I'll take a pic as befoire and after for my own comparison shots! You should definitely take progress pictures. I see myself every day and its such a slow change I don't notice it at all.
Without the pictures, I'd tell you that I look the same now as I did 1 and 2 years ago because I just don't realize how much progress I've made without looking at those pictures. Hell, even in the past month and a half with Intermittent Fasting, people are telling me how much of a difference there is (people who haven't seen me since I started fasting and just now bumping into them again) and without my pictures, I don't really notice that much of a diff. I do remember seeing a few random pictures of myself before I started working out vs a few random I had seen a good bit after.And like you said,I never noticed the difference that much till I saw the pics.Still have 2 months of pigging out and research to do anyways though

They flood the gym on their new years resolutions and after two weeks, you never see them again. Happens every year lol Nah *** that. I worked out for 18 months last time. Only reason why its starting in january is because its when I'll start having money to do it again.I noticed that when I was working out though.First week of the new year,influx of people for a week,then nothing.Same thing on valentine's day.Day after valentine's day was caked full of women who musta been alone on the day and decided "gonna get in shape and bag a man for next year!" and never saw them again lol
I quit the gym in july to build my new computer,that'll be paid off by the week before giftmas. So 2-3 weeks after that I'll have the money to rejoin the gym. And then a few weeks after that hopefully I can afford to reinsure my motorbike for the year :D In such a "need band nerds" mood. .__. Anyone else in marching band/drumline? We could bond, even if you're a woodwind~ D:

Happens every year lol first monday of the year: National Benchpress Day I used to be a woodwind, flute and piccolo to be exact. Piccolos are terrible instruments! I rarely admit to having played them. ^^ But that was ages ago. :-(
