Post Your Pics Thread?

I aint that pretty LOL. Yeah, I do actually wear make-up. I never wear it on here because I take make-up pretty serious and people on FFXI are too critical. I've actually considered becoming a licensed cosmetologist. But having non-MUA people here criticize my artistry on something that means a lot to me is not something I really wanna do. So, I never post pics where I have make-up on where you guys will see.

Oddly enough I've only gotten 100% positive feedback from being on webcam with make-up with some of the people here. So... what the heck, but I still won't show off anything that took a lot of time and effort. I'd only want that kind of stuff criticized by MUA community. No, I'm not a professional Make Up Artist, I've just been doing this for fun since I was a teenager.

Thanks for saying it's good enough to be on the cover of something. I can actually do a lot better. Maybe I'll show you sometime.

Well if it's something you're passionate about you should definitely pursue and go after it. Even if it's only on a hobby like basis.

I wasn't necessarily saying you're like the girls shown above but your last pic definitely fits their dark/mysterious style. Reminds me of one of their older songs "When Girls Telephone Boys" lol.

I think you are much younger than me. I've seen your pictures and you look around 20. Don't get me wrong, you are really pretty and that's awesome. I wish I was 20. But what I mean is, the guys that *DO* flirt with me are around 18-20. I'm 29. It's just too much and they are also always too far anyways so the fact that they are still teenagers, living at home, living 1500 miles away, doesn't help make a case for them.

Some of them are pretty sweet. But that's not what I'm looking for. I need someone who's mature, who knows what they want in life, and can provide me with all the affection and love that I crave. While this may be a bit easier for a girl with some distance between us, with a guy, they would have to be much closer. They are just, quite frankly, less affectionate than girls and there are fewer opportunities to be affectionate with a lot of distance between us. With a girl, I still feel there are plenty of ways to show affection even if you can't see each other everyday. It's just a connection that girls have, or at least a connection I can't seem to get with guys at all.

Now, at the moment, it doesn't matter much anyways. I've been talking to someone quite a bit lately. I'm not going to get too detailed about it because that person isn't near as forward as I am.


That dark mysterious style is all lighting and make-up. The light caught me in a nice way and I like to look cute when I actually turn my webcam on, so I was looking kinda nice.

I wish I was 20 haha.. not sure I'd like to date someone that plays this game too.. we wouldn't see daylight ever.

I see a lot of successful relationships when both people in the relationship play this game. So, I'd love it :)

Yeah, sadly I'm stuck with my parents mainly because things are financially shitty and they need my support as much as I need theirs. Until things recover I'm kinda stuck in a loophole of donating my paycheck every week to keep on going.

But, from what you've said before Gaea, I think you truly find a much more sincere and authentic bond with girls than you do with guys. Either way, I hope you find that someone who fits your needs and makes you happy.

I know the feeling. But I also have a shopping addiction that makes it difficult for me to save. I've spent about 1600 this year on clothes/make-up. And it's only been five months! I shop incessantly. I add things to my favorites until I get paid. Then, fill up my cart until my paycheck is gone. Sadly only about 300 of that was for clothes :(

Lol about 20% Sephora and 75% MAC for me. XD

LOL! I just use Sephora for stuff like Primer Potion, Lip Venom, and perfume. They have the most awesome return policy, so I also tend to buy anything I want to "try" there and I can return it so easily. My latest <3 <3 <3 is Lolita Lempicka "L". MAC for just about everything except my mineral make-up. Their line is nice but I think BE has a much bigger selection so I stick to BE. Mineral Eyeshadow is a nice concept, but it's not pigmented enough for my tastes and the color variety is still small. So when it comes to color, MAC gets all my money.

EDIT: Oh yeah I get my Smashbox Primer from Sephora too.
