Year is worse then day/month
I just work in a Bank fraud ops department and people use this information and easily hijack peoples Identity
Most common is intercepting peoples mail but social media is becoming a big factor in people giving up personal info.

The worst case of fraud I heard of was some guy who posted his info on facebewk and the next few months a guy applied for a banking account, Pulled a mortgage, 10~ Credit cards and personal line of credits. At the end just for the *** of it declared bankrupcy with the guys Identity.
We couldn't tell who was who it was really bad for him
