I've always wondered why you guys don't just use the post "score" rating system as votes, I've seen pics submitted on page three get more +'s than pics on page one.
I'm sure you guys can find a method of implementing it.
Just saying because Trauma's pic has like has a score of like 19, clearly his was liked best by others who are too lazy to post a "vote"

Chalk it up to being lazy and we want it to be "official"--the people who truly care enough to post a vote ought to have the most say. Also, I can like and rate up several pieces, but in the end I have to choose who I feel "deserves" my one and only vote in the end. And something I just thought of: I may like one a LOT in the beginning, but someone may post something later on in the week (CURSE YOU, INGRAHAM! *shakes fist*) that I'd like to devote my one vote to.
That being said, this isn't "srs bsns"--winning isn't such a big deal that you win millions of geel and a rare salmon pink chocobo, you just get momentary internet glory and the chance to create the next MS Paint challenge. :)

I think this is because I posted very early in the week. The topic was bumped quite a few times and a lot of people saw it. If you look at some older challenges you can see that the first pictures tend to get more overall views and higher ratings, but dont always end up as the winners.
