I'm pretty heavy into rap and punk but if its good I'll listen to anything regardless of genre.

but discrediting a band because they sold millions of records and reached the masses,

I like system, saw them live in 2005, and I like RATM. Never got a chance to see them live though which is a shame. I'll be honest, their both over played, and it's not always the best songs that are over played either. Both bands have done some which are much better then the 2 most well known ones (Toxicity and Killing in the Name).
I do like Disturbed too...They are a good band, last 2 albums have been a bit...weak though. Again, the only song that ever seems to be played in clubs/pubs etc is Down with the Sickness...which is a shame because they have done some other really good ones.
I wonder how many people remember when 'Spiders' was a hit song, lol!
