Conversations In Shout

I /sh all the time while trying to farm low drop rate items.

I don't have the time to play with school and work. while I'm on here I am also doing other things, ffxi takes more time than I have of late, although I did just do the LB a few weeks ago and have been working on subs since.

attention isnt the only reason ppl shout:
1. so others can join the convo
getting everyone in one pty just to talk wont happen
getting everyone in wg in one ls wont happen
2. just to start up something so the game doesnt seem so lifeless

Some people enjoy the epeen aspect of the game or w/e and feel the need to constantly prove their superiority in a video game to others.

and some people don't care for all the pointless shouts lol

I found after I blisted a dozen or so people town's got pretty quiet.


blist is there for a reason. you aren't going to make people stop shouting by posting a Q.Q thread


Although I have seen people freak out over any shouts at all before lol..

I was powerleveling a group right outside kazham before and i was low on mp. The puller ran off to get a mob and i didn't know his name so i did a shout to tell him to stop pulling. Had to listen to Q.Q tells for 20 mins because I did a single shout.. told the dude to blist me if it bothered him that much.. as I would return the favor hah.

It was sometime around WotG came out, back in the day when we made full beseiged alliances for shits and giggles. Beastmen advancing. Some girl must've been cybering her boyfriend or whatever and started mting in /shout. It was hilarious, if a bit too much information.

I don't even believe MT's that are sexual. People just fake them to get some lulz in. It's only funny when they're real :x

Sylph has alot of JP /shouts. And... Baely. Her name's gotta stay in everyone's chatlog or she doesn't feel important. She's the same in every party, Abby alliance, etc. Think every server has a "Baely" though

What happens if you have three people who all want to talk to each other.

Lets say these three people are not in the same Linkshell, and for some reason cannot join each others party.

What do you do then? Sure you could all stand around each other and /say but what if you have things to do in town while typing to your friends?

because if 5 people want to have a conversation, they are welcome. It also allows others to join in if they so please.

There's nothing wrong with shouting. Of course, if someone is enough of a gigantic *** to shout about lolsorandumbxDDD things while wanting dozens of strangers' attention (which is the problem here, right?), then chances are they have absolutely nothing of value to say anyways.

I love our Cerb shouts. It gives me something to read while I craft!

One way to avoid the shouts in WG is to stay in your MH. It's quiet there!
