The legs are good if you dont have Enkidus or Mirage legs.
The feet are good for town gear, and before you get denali, yigit or morrigans for INT/MND.
While he shouldn't TP in them, he's clearly just using them for town so "Dear Spicyran, stop trolling~"

Also, MACC swords are great for landing just about any debuff when you cant macro out swords for staves. An example would be straight tanking something you need to silence with Chaotic Eye.

Dude, you're examining someone in town... Dear OP, learn what town gear is please. I assume he wanted the rest of his gear to match his +1 head (even though the set doesn't really match all that well lol). I like to wear the bandannas around town on my rng or blu. Doesn't mean I actually use them; they just look cool.
Edit: and I agree with above poster. M.Acc are not as useful as some of the other swords, however there are situations where the M.Acc sword is the best sword to use.

I'll admit, I WS in the non +1 legs. I really don't have anything else to wear for it, and that stupid last mavi seal is eluding me.
had a drg/whm in my abyssea party before in NQ AF3 helm and shoes... and he used cure 4's instead of healing breaths...ftw lol and another drg/war who used NQ AF3 3/3 (that are out thus far) so that person very well might actually use those NQ AF3 legs...

Oh, and @Zefiris: I'm working on it. I wear pink not because I like it, but because it'll do nicely until I can get my hands on enough Mavi seals to put a +1 on my af3. I happen to like the stats. I think buying gil would make the game less fun for me, so I don't. I also don't particularly like farming, so in the absence of millions of gil, what else was I gonna do with a bunch of cruor?

Town gear is usually stuff you can actually see on your model so because hes wearing a swift belt, doesnt support your case that he tps in that gear.
