Cheap strats:
BLM/whatever - Sleepga > Nuke.

RDM/NIN - Toy with people like you would an NM, Diaga > Bind > Gravity > Nukes, or silence if needed.

BLU/whatever - Huge quick damage, but has to be in a short range, pretty much stomps all normal DDs, but struggles with ranged people who aren't lazy.

You fit in really well on Cerberus. You should talk to Excellence, Armada and Teletubbies. Every person in each of those linkshells firmly believes they are the best players ever on ff11, I'm sure you'll find some1 who thinks they are a match for you. Now actually getting them to fight you and risk hurting their ego is a different matter.

With no items, you can't use poison pots, so BLM/NIN might be your best bet. That way, RDM would have to Diaga > Silence before you can Sleepga, which I don't think can happen. BLU or any other DD job wouldn't be able to get close enough to you before they were slept. RNG might be able to kill you off with a barrage, but won't help him next time due to the recast timer.

BLM/NIN would sleepga to remove shadows, and give the BLM plenty of time to re-cast shadows that may have been lost. Then BLM Nukes > Stun > Sleepgas again if the nuke didn't finish the player off. Can also rest mp for the next fight when the player is slept.

On the other hand... RDM/BLM or RDM/SCH could cast sleepga really quickly, then silence, gravity, paralyze, blind, etc. RDM/BLM or RDM/SCH! Rely on Blink, Baraero, and Barsilence in the event your opponent tries to silence you first. RDM/NIN can fight against silence, but has no means of standing up against sleepga. RDM/BLM or RDM/SCH could cast sleepga faster than any other job, though.

Bah, I forgot about the weird property of Manifestation > Sleep though. I don't think it wipes all shadows, but rather casts sleep on all targets. Wear as much fast cast as possible and when they get within range, start casting.

Only way against it would be to be SCH or /SCH, or toy with them by walking just within range and then stepping out to make them have that pause of no casting.

Maybe BLM/SCH or SCH/BLM would be the best job. Celerity > Sleepga > Big Nuke

Or you could just keep sublimation running...

Yeah, I'm just trying to think through the best way to win cheaply(so that someone will beat OP and get those fat stacks). Iphigenia would lose to a really fast sleepga as a RDM/NIN, but could win if their silence wasn't absorbed by blink.

There better be a lot more than a single sleepga happening to ensure a win.

With how powerful nukes are now? And how 85 vs. 85 is even match? If I remember, you can't do gear macro swaps in that type of fight, so either you go in with full MDT set or some other set(fast cast, nuke, etc).

As long as nukes take I see nothing wrong with swapping some stuff
