One Piece, or if you want something already finished and that you don't have to check every week Saint Seiya.
This, skip the Omega version though, only vanilla and Lost Canvas are worth it imo.

Lost Canvas I suppose is waiting for a second season, found it so so. But yeah, Omega is an insult to the original series <.<
"Another" is pretty good
Depending on what you like try my rank 8-10. Are quite varied in genre from romance, and harem to heavy drama mecha, supernatural and comedy. Should be a few youll like.
Happy anime watching. http://myanimelist.net/animelist/Akildas77 PS. I didnt start watching anime til July/August of this year so its a pretty short list 1. I could spend hours editing my new account on that site, totally going to do that later.
2. One Piece is great. Asura.Akildas said: » Depending on what you like try my rank 8-10. Are quite varied in genre from romance, and harem to heavy drama mecha, supernatural and comedy. But yeah, Omega is an insult to the original series <.< Lost Canvas would actually be on it's 3rd season, season one was Ep 1-13, and season two is 13-26 :x. Sadly Tokyo Movie Studio said in 05/13 they have no plans for a 3rd season of Lost Canvas, which is a shame if you ask me! I saw Saint Seiya like 100 years ago (Not even kidding) so when I watched Lost Canvas with a friend in 2012, it was refreshing and nostalgic, my friend who had no notion of what the series were about really got into it too. The show is rather welcoming to new people who have no knowledge of the Saint Seiya Universe. I'm loving Parasyte atm. I have high hopes for this anime.
Terraformars is pretty interesting. Roaches you would not want infesting your house. I agree with the Parasyte mention, it keeps getting better.
I've seen these anime's recently:
Psycho-Pass (liked, second season airing now and movie comes out in '15) Norigami (was ok but too short) Freezing (besides the exaggerated nakedness and booty shots, was ok) Souleater (finally gave it a chance, it''s not bad) The Devil is a Part-timer (Funny as hell but short) Deadman Wonderland (Intriguing anime that ends short) Been reading Mirai Nikki. I'm laughing more than I should. Everyone is crazy.
Switching to anime near the end just cuz. The second opening...the Engrish is too strong in that one. YouTube Video Placeholder

I saw recently:
Samurai Flamenco (it's ok, think kickass and power rangers fused) Kotoura (it's funny) Magi (I like it so far) Any hidden SoL gems? Preferably without romance. Just finished Tari Tari and about to start up Sketchbook: Full Color's and have Moyashimon standing by for after that.

Kimi to boku is lighthearted, no romance A Channel and nichijou are both no/minimal romance, comedy Clannad is drama/slice of life and definitely romance, but good Too tired to think of more Odin.Llewelyn said: » Any hidden SoL gems? Just ended. I liked it. Also, I'm really enjoying Sketchbook: Full Color's right now, which is weird because when I first tried it a year or so ago I closed the first episode before it even finished since I found it incredibly boring. Same thing happened with Hidamari Sketch and Aria, though I got a few episodes in before "taking a break" from them. Giving shows a second chance sure works out well.
Okay now I'm somewhat awake..
Beck - music comedy, little older but quite good Genshiken - marmite. If you get the comedy its amazing, if not it falls flat. Minami-Ke - I enjoyed it as a very casual watch, funny but you can take it 1 ep at a time and lose nothing. NANA - Frankly would recommend the manga over the anime 100x but its there. Sayonara Zetsubo Sensi - Another marmite case I think. I liked it. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - not entirely slice of life, you have aliens, time travellers and all kinds of wacky ***in there. If you watch anime you need to watch Haruhi, just for completion Arakawa under the bridge - Bizarre but very funny. School rumble - funny and absolutely light hearted. Edit: Theres loads more obviously but these just stood out when I browsed my list. Offline

Hellsing Ultimate Black Lagoon Hajime no Ippo Gundam Wing Just to name a few Amazing to think my first try through Sketchbook I dropped it on the first episode. Gave it another go and finished it all the way through and now it's one of my favorite iyashikei. Def recommend it for anyone that's into those.
