Do the ToM mag acc + staffs (or mag acc % in general) only help with the ability of the spell to land or its ability to remain its full duration or its potency (ie paralyze)? Or all of the above? And how does mag acc % compare with mag acc +1? samething as with haste +2 type items as in %?

I was considering doing mag acc ice for paralyze2 but confused as to what exactly id be getting out of that.

What do you mean mag acc %? The staves give a straight mag acc boost. It's not %. Has nothing to do with potency.

Like previous person said it's a straight +macc not % same as the elemental staffs.

As far as the rest duration is most likely effected by macc but potency is straight merits and dstat. Well the ones like slow are obvious with partial resist. Other ones with non set durations its harder to tell

Duration is affected by macc, enfeebs can get resisted and not last their full duration.

As for the ToTM staves, macc +1 is referring to elemental affinity, NQ ele staves have affinity +1 HQ has +2. So a lv75 macc teiwaz with "magic accuracy +3" is like a HQ stave +1, but it would only have NQ potency for nukes as it has "magic damage +1"

ToM magic accuracy staves offers more magic accuracy than lv51 HQ staves , @lv75 they offer 40 macc , @lv80 50 macc , @lv85 60 macc
basically every affinity = 10 macc , n=1
n+5 * 10 = 1+5 * 10 = 60 macc for lv85

& Paralyze potency "the rate at which its effect proc" has nothing to do with macc , only difference of MND between you & mob affects its potency , macc grants it to last for full duration without resist .

Wrong, magic dmg +1 would have no effect on potency of enfeebs.

I didn't say that magic dmg +1 affected enfeebs at all in my post... I said for nukes
