Best/Worst Final Fantasy Games Within The Main Ser

Well, to reiterate, and add on new experiences, think this is how the FFs rate now (still haven't played through or at all III (JP) or XII (much)

1.) FFVI - Storyline, Graphics for its time, Soundtrack, Characters Made it the best FF by far
2.) FFIX - Loved it for the old school feel and memories of he past FF games. Ending was kinda disapointing though
3.) FFV - Loved the job system and soundtrack, very innovative
4.) FFVII - Nice introduction to the 3D universe, but hasn't stood the test of time, good characters and storyline however
5.) FFI - Without this, there'd be no FF, still a decent play even now
6.) FFXIII - People don't give this game much of a chance, I've played through the majority of it all, and though yes it is kinda linear gameplay wise, the music and story are somewhat decent. Some of the best tracks in an FF game in a long time. I'll admit I personally haven't finished this game completely, but I'm towards the very end now and think an opinion on it is justified.
7.) FFX - Was a good introduction to the PS2, Tidus and Wakka could've been done away though...
8.) FFXIV - It shows promise, but its the issues its facing at the present that are holding it back
9.) FFIV - Not a bad entry into the SNES era, seemed to short to me
10.) FFXI - Still playing nearly 4 years later...
11.) FFVIII - Played through it once, 70 hours was enough for me lol...
12.) FFII - The Battle system, though unique, could've been done away with, played through it all, probably won't again

Main series...

Best: VI, V, VIII, IX, X
Mediocre: VII, IV, I
Worst: III, II, XII, XIII
Don't count: XI, XIV

Non main series...

Best: Tactics (ps1), Legends, Vagrant story
Worst: Tactics GBA, Crystal chronicles, X-2

Musically my favourite last boss song will always be Dancing Mad, followed by The Dark Messenger (Yeah *** Necron, Kuja was the emotional last boss)

Best: I, IV, VIII and IX
Worst: II - Couldn't stand the stat enhancement system.

Non-Main Series~
Best: Tactics (PS1/P)
Worst: Crystal Chronicles - Just couldn't get into it.

Loved IX, loved that song, loved VIVI!! And Freya. :D

I liked Crystal Chronicles, the story was really nice, it just wasn't in your face.

Freya kicks ***. Easily hits the fused Zorn and Thorn for 9999 if you managed to steal Holy Lance from the Ark in Oilevert. I fought that *** for like 20 minutes before I managed to snag it.

Some stuff in that game took way too long to steal. >.>;

VI and IX have the best music of the entire series imo.

I wouldn't really know, honestly. I only knew Ark had the lance because I got it on a previous play through in one try. Sadly, I didn't use Freya at all in that run, so it was mostly useless. :<

I liked Vivi's theme and one of the songs that played at Terra... had a bit of harp in it.

Ok now it looks like I'm playing IX, funny how the music for a game can completely make you in the mood for it.

How can you say that 5 is garbage? 5 is way up there, job system that 11 is BASED on.

5's system is only slightly competed with by IX's system.

Nothing else even touches it.
