Caladbolg build thoughts
7 hit with a low delay weapon is just as fast as 6 hit with a higher delay weapon. If you can find an ideal 7 hit I'd be interested. I'm probably going to build this as well if torcleave turns out to be better than quietus. Apocalypse is failing me now D:

Ideal setup would have Dusk gloves +1, ace's hose, adaberk, bale head +2, vbelt, etc, but that was just an example. edit: forgot about timarli body, but we don't even know what or how it spawns <_< and it's not like lieje drops its crown all the time.

I know it does, but we don't even know the real spawn conditions of him, and timarli hands have a terribad drop rate.

Hoard Ring makes it a perfect 6-hit but anyone with Caladbolg better have Eve's atma.

No, it's 80 but my friend has masamune. My getting a level 85 apoc isn't going to compare to his 3k damage WSs. I still average 1.3kish with catastrophe and 1.5ish with guill.

Oh, and if you're outside of abyssea, you only need .66 more TP per swing, so Goading Belt and Attila's Earring can be used to keep 25% haste, -3% delay, and 7 hit

and honestly, DG +1 are a waste of gil, specially with potential AF3 hands and Ace's gauntlets (inb4 ace's gauntlets have haste +5 acc -5 atk +10 or something)

It was roaming around the mandy camp, although she said that when they killed it, it only dropped Aquiline Belt and Meridian Ring, but I believe it's safe to assume that, like Ovni and Turul, Iratham drops a body+2 common-ish items.

Thorny's LS (and a JP LS, both in Leviathan) have killed Iratham.

Well, yes. You can make an easy 6hit with it.
A scythe would still be better than a naglering on weak stuff though, and some NMs too, if you are really buffed etc.
If you don't have buffs, or are fighting something with really high defense/evasion, 6hit Naglering would beat a 6hit scythe. The difference is in WS damage, to put in simply, Spinning slash VS guillotine.
However, Caladbolg's Torcleaver WS is just really good everywhere, apparently lol
Hence my previous comment of SE making better GSs now. (making them less situational etc.)
