Final Fantasy XI is designed entirely for the ps2, the other ports don't run the game as well as the original mode does. Also during the argument currently in place, he agrees on the note that it does run better, therefore it's not an opinion.

Also it has to do with the coding, the game was ported from the ps2 version to the other 2, they will never run it as well as the ps2 does, doesn't have to do with what the "focus" is, nor is that it focuses more on performance than graphics even really true.

6 months later is not at the same time buddy. The game was ported to the pc and 360, and the 360 version is just pathetic (mostly due to the epic fail the xbox 360 is)

Try again. It was in development for the PS2 and PC at the same time. They initially announced the same release date for both PC and PS2, but that changed. Release date != development timeline.

The ps2 version was the first one done, all aspects are based upon that version, the rest is a sad emulation. Don't make me research the technical data just to prove it, it's commonly known that the pc and 360 versions are ports of the ps2 version and it was coded and designed for the ps2 (originally).
